Since starting his private practice in 1990, Robert has become a recognized leader in representing people with disabilities and their families, educating his clients and securing their rights under programs such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Social Security Act, Supplemental Security Income, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act.
In addition to an impressive track record (with the vast majority of his cases resulting in favorable outcomes), Mr. Jarman’s credentials are equally remarkable. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California federal courts, and the state bars of California, Ohio, and Massachusetts. Robert earned his undergraduate and law degrees from The George Washington University. He previously served as counsel to the Air Force General Counsel in Washington, D.C., and as an attorney for public interest organizations, including the Children’s Defense Fund.
